Winter General Body Meeting January 11th 6PM Weymouth HS 11/16
The General Body Meeting for January will be held at Weymouth HS on Wednesday evening January 11th at 6PM. All winter show hosts are asked to bring your show host coordinators to this meeting. Tickets for finals, badges, review of the fall season and planning for the season are all apart of the agenda. See you there!

Marching Band Finals Day Has Arrived! 11/05
Lawrence Veterans Stadium 240 Osgood St.
Show starts at 11AM. Bus and Truck parking are located at Lawrence HS parking lots. Volunteers and Band Directors must check in at the main entrance gate. Gates open at 10AM for all fans. Good luck everyone and have a great day!

WOW!!! Thank you Reading HS for a great night of marching band. Next weekend is a double header. Billerica on Saturday starting at 4PM.. a preview to championships.. and then NESBA FINALS next Sunday.

The Spartans along with Vic Firth help promote the educational goals of our organization and provide valuable resources to our students. Welcome Port City Photography! 09/09
Port City Photography will be our new vendor for group photos and action shots at all NESBA championship events for the 2011 and 2012 season. Port City Photo comes to us from Portland Maine and we are very excited to have a New England based company working with the organization.

The Fall Season General Body Meeting will take place at Weymouth HS on Monday September 12th at 6PM. This meeting will include a review of the fall season, details for finals, a preview of the winter 2012 season and distribution of passes for the fall shows. See you there!

2012 Winter Schedule On Line 07/27
The 2012 winter schedule is available for VIEW ONLY on line. Registration will begin on October 1st. When reviewing the schedule please remember that some shows are guard only and some are percussion only. We do offer many combined shows as well. With so many requests for shows the opportunities to perform are many. Please do all you can to support as many shows as possible. Best Wishes!!!

The 2011 Fall Marching Band Championships will be held at Lawrence Memorial Stadium on Sunday October 30th. The full Fall Schedule can be found under events. These snow days.... 02/03
Many of you have been emailing and asking about snow days and how practices have been impacted. Just so you know.. EVERYONE has been impacted. The first few shows will be a lot of work for us all and we would just like to let everyone know.. we will do all we can to make sure the students have a great experience and the judges are aware of the impact the weather has had on all units. Scholarship Form Updated On Line.. 02/01
NESBA awards four $500.00 scholarships each year. The scholarship form has been updated and is now located under the FORMS section in the tool bar of the web site. Scholarship forms are to be submitted by May 1st of each year. Special thank you to Vic Firth for participating in our scholarship fund.

For 2011 Paperless Judging System 12/29
For the 2011 winter season, NESBA will be moving away from handing out the judges sheets and only distributing recaps at the end of each event. The paperless judging system has been used in many areas of the country and WGI is now going paperless as well. The topics of digital judging and paperless systems will be discussed at the January General Body Meeting.

Welcome Joe Taylor 12/09
Joe Taylor has accepted a position on the NESBA executive board as Member at Large for this upcoming year. Joe is currently the band director at Bishop Feehan HS and has been a dedicated member of the organization for many years. Joe will be focusing on recruitment and outreach to all bands throughout the area. We welcome Joe to the leadership team of the organization.
