N.E.S.B.A. Scholarships Program / Application Please print the page or Download Document
NESBA has established a Scholarship Program which will provide six (6 as of 2002) $500.00 scholarships to students who have been active participants in NESBA Programs. These Scholarships are divided into three (3) categories: Two (2) Scholarships are awarded to graduating students who (1) Have participated in their school band
program which is a member in (2) Have made a major contribution to that program; and (3) Have been accepted to an accredited, 4 year
degree granting institution as a One (2) Scholarships will be awarded to graduating students who (1) Have participated in their school band
program which is a member in good (2) Have made a major contribution to that program; and (3) Have been accepted to an accredited, 4 year degree granting institution. One (2) Scholarships will be awarded to graduating student s who (1) Have participated in their school band front
and/or winter colorguard (2) Have made a major contribution to that program; and (3) Have been accepted to an accredited 4 year degree granting institution. APPLICATIONS SHOULD CONSIST OF:: (1) Application Form: May be obtained from Band
Director in (2) Applicants Personal Letter: Containing a list
of his/her contributions to (3) Letters of Recommendation from Faculty and Guidance Counselor (4) Transcript (5) Copy of College Acceptance Letter Winners will be personally contacted and will also be announced at the June NESBA Meeting.
